During a conversation with his English tutor, Wu shared his embarrassment when asked about his English name, stating that he finds it cool when others are called Jimmy. Meeting the eligibility criteria of staying more than 183 days annually in the past five years, Ku expressed that obtaining permanent residency in Taiwan is a validation of his sense of belonging. He also praised the convenience, efficiency, and creator-friendly environment of living in Taiwan. Ku’s connection to Taiwan has deepened following his residency approval, and he aims to promote Taiwan, boost Taiwanese nationals’ confidence, and foster a sense of identity.

近期外媒CNA (Channel NewsAsia)在youtube發表了一支「台灣年輕畢業生如何應對低薪、高成本的時代」的影片，主要點出台灣年輕人的「低薪問題」，同時也訪問了四位台灣年輕人如何應對這樣的生活環境，有人表示自己兼差四份工作且每天來回兩縣市通勤，也有人表示自己曾去國外工作、未來也想繼續出國工作。有網友在ptt分享了這支影片，並以「外媒報導台灣低薪問題」為題，表示影片內容說到2012年的薪水可以買1097杯珍奶、到2022年則只能買853杯。影片自7月28日上架後，到目前吸引了近50萬多人觀看，顯見此議題讓許多人有感與重視。
